hello
2 days back my TGM 220S is getting nothing from the LNB i tied another receiver and my installation is working well it looks like my itgate had problems i tried hotbird ,the itgate is able to get some channels but not all of them,badr and nilesat nothing not able to get any signal so i understood that may be the tuner is partially dammaged i mean can get only some frequencies do u think that my guess is right,would the replacement of the tuner will solve the problem ,if you got the same issue wish was solved by the replacement of the tuner or any other tip please advise thanks and best regards
i m runing UKUR 7.9 my receiver is connected to 3 LNB via disecq switch

I suggest to check voltage on power supply, because it's a known issue on this kind of receiver

thks doom for your quick answer actually i do not have any schematic to follow for the power supply voltage check just for info the receiver is starting properly ,front display is giving display and i installed the last nemisis image looks fine connecting to internet menu is working well so if you have sme schematic please tell me what voltage in what pin

Does it read SD cards OK. The power supply to the card is fed from the motherboard (not direct like the internal disk) and should be 5v when awake and about 3.25v when in standby. it is a push-on keyed two pin plug/socket. I had a problems a couple of years age. It bugged me for months before I sorted it by a factory reset and install a modern image.

the tgm220 has no SD card even a factory reset and a modern image is giving no results thks m8y

Hopefully someone will be along that can tell you where to get a replacement tuner,because from what you are doing it does seem to be that component, Dunc.

Just a thought,have you checked all your connections from the lnb to the box?and is your dish alignment ok, Dunc.

i did checked by installing a HUMAX free to air basic receiver and my installlation is working properly all the satellites are there for the tuner i found a placee in spain in this forum i ll order from there

again another question in case the replacing the tuner do not work i m planing to get a TGS 100,is it worthy or better to get another TGM220 thks
